Schladming or Zillertal Arena?
Zillertal Arena takes 4 of 9, with 4 too close to call. That still does not settle it — only the categories you care about count.

Schladming
Four linked mountains of wide, well-groomed intermediate skiing at Styrian prices. Low and heavily reliant on snowmaking, which it does better than almost anyone.
Worth knowing. Low, and almost entirely dependent on snowmaking.

Zillertal Arena
143 km strung along the top of the Zillertal from Zell am Ziller to Königsleiten, with 1,900 m of vertical. Good value for the size, and the valley floor is far too low to ski in April.
Worth knowing. The valley floor at 580 m is unskiable by April.

Bold marks the winner. Rows where neither is bold are close enough that the difference would not change a decision. Cost excludes travel, which depends on where you leave from.
Piste kilometres, lift counts and prices are indicative and compiled from public sources — they have not yet been checked against the resort's own figures for this season. Costs are planning estimates, not quotes. Spotted one that is wrong? Tell us.
